National Professional Qualifications







We are proud to work with Ambition Institute, and Haybridge Teaching School Hub delivering the full complement of National Professional Qualifications (NPQs).

We design, manage and deliver a bespoke NPQLT, NPQLTD, NPQLBC, NPQSL, NPQH, offer around the core NPQ curricula, content and resources that Ambition Institute provides. Ambition Institute also provides Visiting Fellow training and quality assurance to help us deliver the best possible development to participants.

We work closely with Ambition Institute to ensure our offer meets all the requirements and metrics as set out by the Department for Education in the NPQ Quality Framework and the NPQ Content and Assessment Framework.

We deliver the Department for Education’s NPQLT, NPQLTD, NPQBC, NPQSL and NPQH in partnership with Ambition Institute and Haybridge Teaching School Hub. Cohorts start in November and February.

NPQLT

NPQLT (NPQ for Leading Teaching)

Explore effective teaching practice and how it can be applied across a range of subjects to become a leader of teaching.

For teachers who have, or are aspiring to have, responsibilities for leading teaching in a subject, year group or phase.

Funding: Full scholarship funding for teachers who work in a state-funded school in England that is within the top 30th percentile in relation to pupils on pupil premium as of the end of the previous academic year.

Length: 1 year.

NPQLBC

NPQLBC (NPQ for Leading Behaviour and Culture) 

Learn evidence-based practices in behaviour management and create a school-wide culture where staff and pupils can thrive.

For teachers who have, or are aspiring to have, responsibilities for leading behaviour and/or supporting wellbeing in their school.

Funding: Full scholarship funding for teachers who work in a state-funded school in England that is within the top 30th percentile in relation to pupils on pupil premium as of the end of the previous academic year.

Length: 1 year.

NPQLTD

NPQLTD (NPQ for Leading Teacher Development)

Gain the knowledge to become a teacher educator and successfully support teachers in your school to expand their skills.

For teachers who have, or are aspiring to have, responsibilities for leading the development of other teachers in their school.

Funding: Full scholarship funding for teachers who work in a state-funded school in England.

Length: 1 year

NPQSL

NPQSL (NPQ for Senior Leadership)

Develop your leadership knowledge and put it into practice in your own school setting.

For school leaders who are, or are inspiring to be, a senior leader with cross-school responsibilities.

Funding: Full scholarship funding for teachers who work in a state-funded school in England that is within the top 30th percentile in relation to pupils on pupil premium as of the end of the previous academic year.

Length: 18 months

NPQH

 NPQH (NPQ for Headship)

Develop the knowledge and skills to set ambitious vision for your school and improve outcomes.

For school leaders who are, or are aspiring to be, a headteacher or head of school with responsibility for leading a school.

Funding: Full scholarship funding for teachers who work in a state-funded school in England that is within the top 30th percentile in relation to pupils on pupil premium as of the end of the previous academic year.

or

are a headteacher or head of school with responsibility for leading a school, are in the first 24 months of headship, work in a state-funded school in England.

Length: 18 months (some flexibility for new in role heads).
